Jessica Marie Alba is an American actor and businesswoman. She started her TV and film careers at 13 in Camp Nowhere, and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994). At age 19 she ascended to prominence as the lead actress of Dark Angel (2000–2002), for which she was awarded a Golden Globe nomination. Honey (2003) was her most successful screen debut. Her return to Claremont, California when she was nine years old. Alba said that her family was "very conservative" - a traditional Catholic, Latin American, Catholic family. Alba is also described as liberal. When she was five, she claimed she was a feminist.
