Alex Caruso

Caruso, born on the 28th of February 1994, is an American professional
basketball player that plays with the Chicago Bulls (NBA). He is known as
"Bald Mamba" or "Carushow" He played in basketball in
college for the Texas A&M Aggies, earning the second-team of
all-Southeastern Conference (SEC) recognition in the year he graduated as a
senior. He also won an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020.
Caruso attended A&M Consolidated High School in his hometown of College
Station, Texas, where he played basketball with the coaching of head coaches
Rusty Segler and Rick German. After helping his team reach the playoffs and he
was an senior, and averaged 18 points and 9 rebound. Caruso was a high school
graduate and joined the Texas A&M Aggies. In his four years with the
Aggies, Caruso averaged 8. points, 4.7 assists, and 2.02 steals per match. He
was the all-time top scorer at Texas A&M with 776 assists and 649 assists
and was only outdone by David Edwards in these categories. As the senior,
Caruso led the Aggies to the Sweet 16 of NCAA Tournament. He was also awarded
second-team All-SEC honors and SEC All-Defensive Team. Caruso wasn't selected
in the 2016 NBA Draft. He signed with the Philadelphia 76ers to play in the
2016 NBA Summer League. He signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder in September
2016. However the Thunder later revoked his contract by the Thunder in October
17. The team acquired him from the Oklahoma City Blue (NBA Development League)
on November 3. Caruso joined the Lakers for the 2017 NBA Summer League. After a
few games, Caruso was capable of replacing Lonzo Ball injured and helped lead
the Lakers to victory, he was finally signed to the Lakers the second two-way
contract.
